Laukasoo bog

The weird thing about this bog was that I had not even heard of it.
It has been a no-go area since the 1970ies but has now restricted access only from February to the end of June. The birds have it all for themselves during that time.
Once heavily used for turf and timber the bog is undergoing restoration works and looks a bit strange because of that. The water is in unexpected places and there are big dams blocking the old drainage system.
Nevertheless, the watery center is undisturbed and indescribably beautiful.
