from London to Aberdeen

Morning at the train station.
We get adapters, coffee and croissants. From the upstairs cafè is a good view on the colorful mass of people hurrying below. Despite two previous trips to England it is my first time in London.
The train speeds north, towards the oldest rocks of Europe. The railway is lined with fireweeds. The more north, the more rolling the landscape.
Transporting people creates a lot of rubbish. We haven’t learned how to avoid it although we know how to break apart an atom and how to send things to Mars.
Fish and chips onboard the ship with the viking logo. The chairs in the restaurant are chained to the floor.
