A slow-pace on week holiday

A bus ride from Bari airport brings us to the edge of the old Matera. For the first two nights we have booked a fancy cave. When once the caves were considered a disgrace for Italy then now the tables have turned and only the well-off can afford staying in one. Our evening stroll is illuminated by a golden-purple sunset.
Most days we work a bit after breakfast, wander around the town in the afternoon and find a nice place for dinner. No rush.
